Today was hot – about 86° - so we took our bike rides early in the morning, and decided to take a bush walk on the North Shore in the afternoon. There are many beautiful walks throughout Sydney, but this is one of our favorites – for the views, the nature and the gorgeous homes that line the preserve pathways. It didn’t disappoint.

We saw several homes that had been remodeled in the past 2-3 years, and as always, a few up for sale. The prices are astronomical, as Sydney, particularly harbor view or waterfront property is so desirable. Because the shoreline is so vast and Sydney is quite hilly, there are many beautiful locations from which to choose. It would have been nice to be in the real estate market back when our dollar was so strong.

Here are a few photos of sights we saw along the way – including a sweet kookaburra that posed and then calmly watched us as we walked past.
