The weather has gotten cooler, although still sunny, so it was a good day to walk from Coogee Beach to Bondi. This is a famous shore walk, and thousands of people walk/jog it every day. We like to think of it as Australia’s version of the Italian Cinque Terra – except with beach towns rather than hill towns. From south to north, one passes from Coogee to Clovelly, Bronte, Tamarama, and finally Bondi beach, in all its splendor. The path follows the coastline, with fantastic views all the way. It also passes through Waverly Cemetery, which is right on the cliff line in front of the ocean, and is the location Nicole Kidman has chosen as her final resting place.
