Yesterday was one of the hottest days since we arrived – in the low 90s – and very humid. We took the “Rivercat” hydrofoil out to Paramatta in the afternoon, which is a nice boat trip, with interesting scenery. Paramatta, being inland, is always hotter than Sydney, so we had to question the wisdom of our choice! We didn’t stay long before we caught the next boat back to Sydney.

This morning, Tom picked me up in the park, and we cycled to the café where he has coffee with the club members. It was fun to meet some of his cycling friends; they are all really nice people. Here’s a picture of Tom in the park next to a huge tree root – the trees in the park are magnificent, and there are lots of parrots who make their homes there. The bird noise in the morning is fantastic.
